Overview

The Santa Cruz Turkey Trot is a flat, fast road race that starts and finishes on Delaware Street beside Natural Bridges, with the Pacific Ocean in view for much of the route. Entrants choose between a 10K, a 5K and a short 1K for children, and every metre is run on paved road. Race day morning registration opens at 7:00 at 2300 Delaware Ave. Each 5K and 10K finisher receives a pair of Santa Cruz Track Club finisher socks, and the top three overall finishers take home prizes.

Runners set off from Delaware Street at 2300 Delaware Ave and return to the same spot, passing the Natural Bridges area on a flat coastal loop.

Race Day

Saturday morning event: race day registration from 7:00 at 2300 Delaware Ave, Kids 1k at 7:45, 5k at 8:00 and 10k at 8:45 (2024 timings).

On the day
