Other questions
The race is scheduled for Sunday 10 January 2027. Even though it carries the San Silvestre name, which usually belongs to New Year's Eve races, this edition runs in the second week of January in Guadajira, Extremadura.
Guadajira is a small town in the province of Badajoz, in the Extremadura region of western Spain, close to the city of Badajoz. It is easily reached by road from Badajoz and neighbouring towns such as Montijo and Aceuchal.
The most practical option is by car, as the town sits in a rural area of Extremadura. Allow extra time on the morning of the race, since parking in a small town fills up quickly when a race is on. Regional bus services connect nearby towns, but check Sunday timetables in advance.
