The San Silvestre Ciudad de Guadalajara runs through the streets of Guadalajara in Castilla-La Mancha on Sunday 27 December 2026, as the tenth edition of the city's festive end-of-year race. Participants choose between a 10 kilometre course and a shorter 5 kilometre option, both run on paved city streets through the town. The programme also includes races for younger runners across the Alevín, Infantil, Promoción, Benjamín and Chupetines categories, which makes it a morning for the whole family. Entries are handled online through RockTheSport, where the latest start times, bib collection details and course information are published closer to race day.

The race is run entirely on paved city streets through Guadalajara, which makes it a fast and spectator-friendly route rather than a trail or cross-country course. Full course details and any route map are published on the organiser's event page closer to the date.
Because the course follows the streets of central Guadalajara, spectators can watch from the pavements along much of the route and simply walk between points rather than following a shuttle. The start and finish area is the liveliest spot, with runners passing more than once on the longer course.
San Silvestre races go ahead in cold and wet weather, and cancellation only happens in genuinely unsafe conditions. Any change to the schedule is announced by the organiser on the event page and its social channels, so check those on the morning of the race.
