The 8km race is run on the roads around Saitama Shintoshin and finishes at Komaba Sports Park, away from the arena start area. It is open to runners aged 15 and over on race day, excluding junior high school students, and a 90 minute limit with checkpoints on the course applies.

Entry opens at noon on 15 July 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 31 October 2026. Even inside that window, registration ends as soon as the field is full, so early entry is a good idea.
Participation information is delivered electronically by default. Entrants download the data from the official event website and save it on a phone or print it at home. If you would prefer a paper copy, it can be issued for 500 yen and selected during the entry process.
The event programme is distributed electronically. A paper programme can be issued for 1,000 yen and requested when you enter.
Entry is only complete once payment has been received. If payment does not arrive by the deadline the entry becomes invalid.
