Tittesworth Water Trail takes runners around Tittesworth Reservoir, beneath the gritstone edge of The Roaches on the western side of the Peak District. The route mixes runnable reservoir-side paths with rewarding climbs up onto the surrounding heather moorland, with broad views across Staffordshire and the Cheshire Plain. Three distances run on the same July morning, a 10k, a 22k and a 50k, all based at Meerbrook. Entries include chip-timed results, free race photos, a themed medal and post-race goodies, and the day is set up for runners of all abilities, from first-time trail racers to those chasing a strong finish.
