The RUNC CHALLENGE is a 5K trail race that features the famous Runc Hill climb with 550m of elevation gain. It's the shortest race in the Bucovina Ultra Rocks event and serves as the first stage of the Triple Crown Challenge.
Runners have 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the 5K course.
The Triple Crown Challenge is a multi-race challenge within the Bucovina Ultra Rocks event. The RUNC CHALLENGE is the first stage of this challenge.
The course has 550 meters of elevation gain over the 5K distance, featuring the Runc Hill climb which is the main challenge of this race.
Based on the route map, there are checkpoints marked on the course, some with assistance permitted and some without assistance permitted.
