Runners pass through open countryside and enjoy views across the surrounding landscape. The seventh edition takes place at Upcote Farm in Withington, near Cheltenham, with places limited to 250. Competitors must be aged 16 years or older on the date of the race, which is 4 April 2027. Places are limited to 250, so early entry is recommended.
The 5 mile course is a trail route over a mix of bridleway and permissive path across the Cotswolds. It includes climbs, flowing forest tracks, descents and views over the surrounding countryside.
The 2027 event will be run under UK Athletics rules and is affiliated with England Athletics. Trail Running Association licensing is pending.
