Overview

Run for the House brings runners and walkers together in downtown Houston's Sam Houston Park to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston, which gives families of seriously ill children a home away from home. Race morning opens with the timed 5K and 10K on flat, paved city streets and park paths, followed by an untimed one mile for children and families. Because the Trafigura Foundation matches donations, every entry and every fundraising dollar goes further. The 2023 edition is held on Saturday 2 December, with the 5K and 10K starting at 8:00 AM.

Race morning on Saturday 2 December 2023 at Sam Houston Park, Houston. Timed 5K and 10K start at 8:00 AM (the 2023 5K went off at 8:05 AM), with the untimed one mile following at 8:15 AM.
