Run Falmouth is a half marathon based at the Princess Pavilion on Melvill Road in Falmouth, Cornwall. The single loop of 13.1 miles leaves the town and heads through the village of Mawnan Smith, taking in views of Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth beaches on the way back. The race is the fifth fixture in the Cornwall Grand Prix Road Racing Series and the field is capped at 750 entries, all taken online in advance with none available on the day. Runners collect their race number at Race HQ on the morning, wear a timing chip on the ankle that must be handed back at the finish, and the first 750 entrants are guaranteed an event medal. The event supports Cornwall Hospice Care, with £2 from every entry donated to the charity.
