The route is a 5.275 km loop through forest trails and single tracks with natural woodland and gravel surfaces. It is extremely muddy in places. A GPX file is available at https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2768399.
No, the event takes place in a working forest open to the public. Runners do not have right of way and must be considerate to other users.
Public toilets are at the Visitor Center, and a cafe is on site usually open until 4 PM.
