The Rose Color Run takes place in the village of Rieux-en-Cambrésis in the Nord department of northern France on Saturday 24 October 2026. It is a colour run, the cheerful format in which runners pass through stations where coloured powder is thrown over them, so participants usually finish covered in pink and other bright shades. The day is organised by the local association Rieux en Fête and is aimed at runners, joggers, walkers and families rather than at competitive racers. Full details of the course, start time and the practical arrangements for the day are published on the organiser's own page, and runners are advised to check there before the event.

A colour run is an untimed, fun-oriented run or walk in which participants pass through stations where coloured powder is thrown over them. The mood is celebratory rather than competitive, and people usually start in white or light clothing and finish covered in colour.
The event is organised by Rieux en Fête, a local association based in Rieux-en-Cambrésis. Their event and registration page is hosted on HelloAsso.
Colour-run powder is normally a cornflour-based product made for this purpose. If you have asthma or a respiratory condition, or sensitive skin or eyes, it is worth asking the organiser what powder they use and taking sensible precautions such as sunglasses or a buff.
Colour runs are designed to be inclusive and walking is common at these events. Confirm with the organiser that walkers are welcome and whether there is a separate start or timing arrangement for them.
