Rosa sløyfe-løpet Tønsberg - 6K

It is a charity running and walking event held in Tønsberg in Vestfold, Norway, as part of the nationwide Rosa sløyfe (Pink Ribbon) campaign. Participants complete a six kilometre route through the town while raising money for breast cancer research and support work.

The event exists to support the Pink Ribbon campaign, so fundraising is at the heart of it. Any minimum sponsorship target or suggested amount is set out by the organiser on the event page, so check there for the current requirements.

Funds collected through Rosa sløyfe-løpet events support the Norwegian Pink Ribbon campaign, which finances breast cancer research, patient support and awareness work.

Yes. Events in the Rosa sløyfe-løpet series are designed to be inclusive, and walkers are generally just as welcome as runners. There is no need to run the whole six kilometres.

The event goes ahead in typical autumn weather, including rain, so come dressed for the conditions. If severe weather forces a change of plan, the organiser will announce it on their website and social channels.
