The Rosa sløyfe-løpet Borkenes takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 in Rå, a village in Troms in northern Norway, with Borkenes as its base. It forms part of the national Pink Ribbon run programme, a charity series that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer work. Participants can choose a 5 km route or a 2.5 km route, and there is a separate Ildsjel Mini for the youngest runners. The day is a relaxed, community-minded affair where local runners, families and first-timers share the same course, and the emphasis sits firmly on taking part rather than on fast times.

The event is scheduled for Saturday 3 October 2026 in Rå, Troms, in northern Norway, with the Borkenes area as the base for the day.
Rosa sløyfe-løpet, or the Pink Ribbon Run, is a national Norwegian charity run series. Events are organised by local volunteers under the Pink Ribbon banner and the money raised goes towards breast cancer awareness and research work.
Pink Ribbon runs are social, inclusive events and walking the shorter route is common. If you plan to walk, start towards the back so runners can pass easily.
Rå and Borkenes sit in the Kvæfjord area of Troms, reachable by road from Harstad and the surrounding region, with Harstad/Narvik Airport at Evenes serving the area. A car is the most practical option for getting to the start, and car sharing with other participants is popular.
Autumn weather in Troms can change quickly and light rain or wind alone will not normally stop the run. The organisers will publish any change to the plan on their website and social channels, so check before travelling.
