The Rijeka Half Marathon sets off from Korzo, the city's central pedestrian zone, on the afternoon of 10 April 2027 and follows a single loop through the streets of Rijeka. Runners leave the centre towards Pećine and Plumbum before swinging back through the city, past Molo Longo, the Riva and Kantrida, to finish where they started at Korzo. The half marathon carries AIMS Grade B certification and shares the programme with a 3x7K relay and shorter 10K and 5K city races. Every distance starts at 16:00 on the same day, so the afternoon and evening fill up with runners moving through the centre of Rijeka.

Other questions
Yes. Alongside the individual half marathon there is a 3x7K relay, so three runners can share the distance between them. Each team member covers one 7 km leg, and the relay starts at the same time as the other races.
No qualifying standard is required. The Rijeka Half Marathon is an open city race, so any runner who is fit enough to cover the distance can enter, provided they meet any age requirements set by the organiser.
All races begin at 16:00 from Korzo, so it is sensible to be in the start area well before then. Arriving an hour ahead leaves time for bib collection, a warm-up and finding your place in the starting pen without rushing.
Yes. The half marathon course holds AIMS Grade B certification, which means the distance has been measured to an accepted standard for road racing.
The route is run on city streets and waterfront roads. It leaves central Rijeka towards Pećine and Plumbum, then comes back through the centre, past Molo Longo and along the Riva and Kantrida, finishing at Korzo where it began.
