The Rhino Run at Runnymede is built around a flat, riverside trail beside the River Thames, starting and finishing at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club in Egham. Runners cover 3.28-mile out-and-back laps, choosing a set distance from 5K through to a 32-mile ultra, or running as many laps as they can inside six hours. An aid station at the end of every lap offers water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food, so there is little to carry and plenty of chance to chat. A rhino medal waits at the finish, and part of every entry fee goes towards Save the Rhino awareness and the fundraising work of Chris Green, known as Rhino Boy Chris.

The Rhino Run celebrates Save the Rhino awareness and the fundraising efforts of Chris Green, known as Rhino Boy Chris. Part of the proceeds from event entries goes towards the cause, and finishers collect a rhino medal.
Yes. The event village at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club is a comfortable base, and because the course is an out-and-back lap, supporters on the riverside path see runners pass several times.
