Overview

The Quicksilver Trail Challenge is a late-summer trail event in Almaden Quicksilver County Park, using many of the same trails as the club's longer Quicksilver 50K and 100K ultras. It offers a half marathon, a 10K and a free kids one mile fun run over rolling foothills with views of Mt. Umunhum and the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The practical side

Terrain

Trail through rolling foothills with exposed sections, poison oak along parts of the course.

Route

Same course as 2022-2025. Aid stations at Capehorn Pass (mile 3.4) and Prospect #3 (miles 6.7 and 10.5), with Randall/Prospect cutoffs at 10:15 and 11:15.
