What you get

Chip timingThe Prague Airport Valentine's Run Race uses chip timing. Depending on the system, your timing chip may be attached to your race bib or issued separately with your race pack. Wear your bib visibly on your chest, cross the timing mats at the start and finish, and check the official results online after the race.

On the day

ParkingPrague has an excellent public transport network. Stromovka park is served by tram stops such as Výstaviště, with metro connections nearby at Hradčanská or Vltavská. Use the PID/DPP journey planner to plan your route, and allow extra time on race morning because trams and roads may be busier than usual.

Public transportThe 7K route is on road and park paths in Stromovka, which is generally flat with only gentle inclines. If you are new to running, build up gradually over 6–8 weeks with a mix of easy runs, run/walk intervals, and one slightly faster session per week. Practise running in cold-weather clothing and on similar surfaces, and taper your training in the final week before race day.

First aid on courseRoad races of this type typically have medical support, course marshals, and clear markings through Stromovka park. The 7K route should be marked with signs, tape, or marshals at key turns. If you feel unwell or see another runner in trouble, stop and alert the nearest marshal or medical team. Emergency contact details are usually printed on your race bib or in the race guide.

DeferralsThe official transfer and deferral policy is not yet confirmed for the Prague Airport Valentine's Run Race. Many road races allow transfers to another runner or deferral to a future edition for a fee before a set deadline. Once registration opens, check the event terms carefully and contact the organiser before the deadline if you need to change your entry.

Collecting your numberRace pack collection details are still to be confirmed. Typically, race packs are collected at a pre-race expo or race office, and sometimes on race morning for smaller events. Bring your registration confirmation and ID. If someone else collects for you, they may need a signed authorisation and a copy of your ID, so check the final race instructions.
