The Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk is held on Thanksgiving morning at Pulaski Park near Nancy, Kentucky, on trails that look out over Lake Cumberland. Participants cover 3.1 miles on foot, running or walking, while a one mile fun run gives a shorter option for families and younger entrants. Part of the proceeds from every entry goes to the American Cancer Society, and the morning finishes with awards across top finishers, team divisions and age group categories before the holiday feast begins.
