The series unfolds over twelve consecutive days on the Thames Path at Walton on Thames, with each day using measured and certified out-and-back laps of roughly 5.3 km along a riverside towpath. The ground underfoot is off-road trail and the course is entirely flat, with no elevation gain or loss across the whole route. Runners choose a distance when they enter and can change it later, including on the day, and an early start option hands back extra running time for those who want it. The series is one of a set of Ten in Ten and Twelve in Twelve events staged by Phoenix Running in spring 2027. Finishers collect a daily lantern medal and a technical finisher shirt according to category, and a no-medal, no-shirt entry option is available for anyone who prefers to run without them.

Other questions
Yes. Entrants choose a distance option during sign up and can change it afterwards, including on the day itself. That flexibility suits runners who want to start with a short distance and build up as the series goes on, or to drop down if they need an easier day.
Yes. An early start option is available and it gives participants additional running time on course, which is useful for the longer distances and for anyone who expects to be out for most of the day.
Finishers receive an event medal, and the series is known for a collectible lantern medal for each day, plus a technical finishers t-shirt according to category. A no medal and no t-shirt entry option is also available if you would rather not take them.
The Double-Down option lets participants run two half marathons per day, which adds up to 20 or 24 consecutive half marathons across the series. It is aimed at runners who want a bigger challenge than one run a day.
The series runs over twelve consecutive days, beginning on Friday 19 March 2027 and finishing on Tuesday 30 March 2027. Runners can take part on any or all of the days.
