Cambridgeshire - Strava Things is a timed lap event held at Thorpe Meadows in Peterborough on 18 April 2027. Everyone follows the same measured 5.3 km (3.28 mile) loop and repeats it as many or as few times as their chosen distance requires, with a minimum of one lap and a six hour window to work with. The ground underfoot is a mix of tarmac paths, grass and woodland trail, and the loop is essentially flat apart from one short, steep climb roughly 3.7 km into each circuit. For this event the loop is run in reverse to match the Stranger Things 'Upside Down' theme, and every finisher receives a bespoke medal inspired by the show. A virtual participation option is also available for those who cannot make it to Peterborough in person.
