One out and back lap is 2.62 miles. Five laps make a half marathon, ten laps make a marathon, and eleven or more laps take you into ultra distance.
The lap follows The Itchen Way from Garnier Road Car Park on a smooth and mostly paved surface, crossing Hockley Viaduct before returning the same way. It is professionally measured and holds a Road Permit.
