PHOENIX - Lest We Forget is a 7-hour timed running event held on Remembrance Day in Walton-on-Thames. Participants can run as far as they like on a flat 5.3km riverside course, choosing distances from 5K to ultra. The event features a special antique brass Unknown Soldier silhouette medal and offers flexible start times within a 1.5-hour window.

The course is a 5.3km (3.28 mile) out and back route along the River Thames on a riverside towpath. It's flat with no elevation gain or loss, making it a fast course.
Yes, spectators are welcome. The Weir Pub is located right next to the start/finish line and offers drinks and food from 12:00 PM. There's also a café at the nearby Xcel Leisure Centre.
No, the beauty of this format is that you don't need to decide in advance. You can run one lap and see how you feel, then keep going if it feels right on the day.
