The Peticolas Running Club Social Run/Walk sends participants out on a roughly three mile route along the Trinity Strand Trail, part of the wider Loop Dallas trail network. Mile markers line the way and bottled water is available on course, and participants can set off solo whenever they are ready or join the group start. Check-in runs from 8am to 9am at Peticolas Brewing, and afterwards there is a hearty breakfast from That Taco Dude, three handcrafted Peticolas brews and a souvenir pint glass to take home. The event goes ahead rain or shine, dogs are not permitted, and children in strollers take part for free.

The event is a social run and walk, so walking is very welcome. Participants can head out solo at their own pace or join the group start at 8:30am.
Not at all. This is a social event rather than a race, and the emphasis is on enjoying the trail, the company and the refreshments afterwards.
Check-in is open from 8am to 9am, so arrive within that window to collect your entry before heading out on the course.
