Route

The 10k route follows a gloriously fast and flat route through the countryside of Lunesdale. This will be an out-and-back route starting and ending behind the George and Dragon. The new and improved route removes the uphill section at the finish, allowing you to attack the final stretch of the race.

Registration opens at 10:00, 10k starts at 11:00, Fun Run starts at 11:05

Parking · PaidThere is 3-hour parking available at the quay outside the George and Dragon. There is also additional unrestricted parking on New Quay Road by the new building. There is very limited Pay and Display parking around the Castle. There are several car parks within a 10 minute walk of the venue. There is very little on-street car parking close to the venue too.

ToiletsThe toilets are available at the Castle and at the Royal King's Arms hotel.

Bag dropYes, there is a baggage store available at the venue for all entrants to use.

Before you enter

Minimum ageAdults are welcome to run with their children for free (no event medal). If they are not running with a child they must pay for an entry.

HeadphonesIt is not recommended to use headphones when you run as you will need to be aware of what is around you and you must be able to take instructions from the marshals.

Collecting your numberAll entrants must collect their race packs from the registration desk on the day of the event. Nothing will be posted out in advance.
