Distance
Terrain
The PB&J Fuel Run is a small, private group run staged at Barkley Meadows Park in Del Valle, Texas, with 1 mile, 5K, 10K and 13.1 mile options all taking place on the same morning. Runners and walkers are released in capped waves rather than one mass start, and the exact course map is emailed to every entrant in the final race update sent on the Wednesday before the event. There are no timing chips; participants can track themselves on an app and submit their time through a simple form, or ask a coordinator to record it. Every finisher receives a medal and a towel or giveaway, and the race shirt is posted to the address given at registration rather than collected at a packet pickup. A virtual option lets entrants complete the distance anywhere and submit their result for a medal.
