The Patagonia Running Festival takes place on 24 April 2027 in Chile's Torres del Paine National Park, with the base camp at Villa Serrano beside the Río Serrano Hotel + Spa. Runners choose from five point-to-point trail distances of 5K, 11K, 21K, 42K and 50K, all run over almost entirely firm, gravel-type ground with mountain, lake and river scenery along the way. The longer courses climb around 650 metres and drop close to a thousand, so the day suits runners who can pace themselves on a surface that is fast in places and loose in others. Entries include a shuttle to the start line, drink and nutrition stations, medical support, a finisher medal and a goodie bag, and the day closes in a festival area where runners and their companions can eat and celebrate. Organisers cap the number of participants to protect the quality of the experience, and athletes travel in from Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and further afield.

Yes, we will have vegetarian food options at the festival.
It is important to consider that the surface on which PRF runs is almost entirely firm terrain, gravel type (compact but with loose sand in some sections and in others with calamine); For this reason, the shoe, in addition to being comfortable, must have good grip, good cushioning and ideally not too low or thin since the stones on the road are felt in parts of the circuit.
The weather is unpredictable, subject to constant changes during the same day, so we recommend you bring windproof clothing, water and shelter, as well as for a sunny day.
Since the base camp is located outside the national park, competitors can be accompanied by family members, who may arrive in private vehicles or use shuttle buses, which have an additional cost. They will be able to remain in the base camp area until the end of the race. It should be noted that access to the base camp area has an additional cost. Companions who do not purchase their ticket will not be able to enter the festival area.
The event headquarters is in Villa Serrano, at the río serrano hotel + spa, in the Torres del Paine area. It sits 330 km from Punta Arenas, about a five-hour drive, and 85 km from Puerto Natales, about two hours away. The base camp itself is located outside the national park boundary.
