The classic 10K race of the Volta a Paranhos, run on closed city streets as a single loop that starts and finishes on Rua Alfredo Allen next to the Faculty of Psychology. The course carries a two-hour cut-off and is open to entrants aged 18 and over.

The 10K is a single loop on closed city roads through the Paranhos district, passing the church square at Largo da Igreja de Paranhos, Rua de Costa Cabral, Rua da Constituição and Praça 9 de Abril before returning to Rua Alfredo Allen for the finish.
Entry includes a finisher medal, an event t-shirt, an electronic certificate or diploma, a single-use timing chip, drink stations on the course and medical assistance. Cash prizes are also awarded.
Medical assistance is provided as part of the event and is included in your entry. If you feel unwell on the course, stop and speak to the nearest marshal or medical team member.
