Moderate to difficult route over typically Dartmoor terrain: mud, bogs, plenty of ascent and possibly severe midwinter conditions.

Route

Marathon course covers over 28 miles visiting many stone circles and pagan sites of north Dartmoor, with over 1500m of ascent.

Race day: Saturday 23 January 2027. Marathon starts at 08:30, Half at 11:00.

Time limitYes: Marathon has an 8-hour cut-off, Half Marathon has a 4-hour cut-off. Strictly enforced.
