The Meet at the summit 20 km is the longer of the two races in the Danjingshan Station round of the Outdoor Agent Meet at the Summit Series, run on 11 October 2026 from the Danjingshan area outside Chengdu. It covers 20.57 km of mountain trail with 1,010 m of climbing and the same amount of descent, so the ground rises and falls throughout rather than easing into flat running. There is a single aid station on the course and a six hour time limit, which suits steady hill runners rather than anyone chasing a fast road time. The field is capped at 350 entrants and the race carries ITRA mountain level 5, with a finisher level of 230. A shorter 15 km race, Seeking Blossoms Along the Dan Trail, runs as part of the same station weekend.

The 20 km race is capped at 350 participants, with entry counted as a solo (individual) participation.
Yes. The race is listed on ITRA with mountain level 5, so a finish contributes to your ITRA performance index and ranking record provided your result is submitted by the organiser.
It is a genuine mountain trail rather than a road race. Just over 20 km with 1,010 m of climbing and 1,010 m of descent works out at roughly 50 m of elevation change per kilometre, so expect sustained uphill and downhill running with very little flat ground.
There is one aid station on the route. With a six hour limit on a course that climbs a full kilometre, most runners carry their own water, food and a phone between stations.
The race page does not publish a mandatory kit list, so check with the organiser before race day. As a minimum for a mountain trail of this length, bring enough water and food for long sections between aid, a charged mobile phone, a light waterproof jacket, a whistle and a small first aid kit.
