A short, sharp fell race that climbs from the bottom of the Orrest Head path above Windermere and returns to the event venue near The Phoenix Centre. The whole route is 1.6 km with around 130 m of climbing, so it is a steep, intense effort rather than a distance test. It is graded AS under the FRA fell classification and is open to runners aged 16 and over.
