The Octobre Rose Color Run takes place in Vitry-aux-Loges, in the Loiret department of Centre-Val de Loire, on Saturday 17 October 2026. The event is part of the Octobre Rose breast cancer awareness campaign and is organised by APEEVAL, the association of parents of pupils at the village schools. Participants take on a colour run format, with coloured powder thrown along the route, and the emphasis is on taking part rather than on fast times. Entry and event updates are handled online through the organiser's HelloAsso page, which is the place to check for start times, course details and the latest information.

The event is scheduled for Saturday 17 October 2026 in Vitry-aux-Loges, in the Loiret department of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.
A color run is a relaxed, non-competitive run or walk where coloured powder is thrown over participants along the route. Most people start in white clothing and finish covered in colour, and the atmosphere is celebratory rather than competitive.
Octobre Rose is the annual French campaign each October to raise awareness of breast cancer and to support screening and research. Many towns and villages hold pink-themed runs, walks and other events as part of it, and this color run in Vitry-aux-Loges is one of them.
Color runs use powder made for the purpose, usually a cornstarch-based product, and it is thrown rather than aimed at faces. If you or a child has asthma or a respiratory condition, or sensitive skin, it is sensible to check with the organiser and consider running at the side of the pack or wearing a mask.
The organiser's HelloAsso page is the best starting point, as it belongs to APEEVAL and carries the entry process and contact route for the event. Questions about entries, the route or race day are best sent to them rather than to this listing site.
