The Nolan Davidson Champions Run is a community race held at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas, with the course routing runners around the Kansas Speedway on paved ground. Runners can choose between a 10k, a 5k or a special 1.10 mile tribute run, and the event welcomes everyone from seasoned athletes to weekend stroller-pushers. The day honours Nolan Davidson, whose life was cut short in a tragic accident, and raises funds for youth scholarships in soccer for his KC Fusion team.
