Overview

Night Owl 5K is an after-dark run on the trails of the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, South Carolina, starting from the Greenway Gateway on Lake Haigler Drive. Participants cover 5 km beneath the stars, with a 3-mile Hike Challenge and a 1-mile fun run or walk offered alongside the main distance. The evening has the feel of a festival of fitness, with runners and walkers encouraged to wear bright gear and light up the path. Afterwards everyone gathers at the Gateway Canteen to refuel and celebrate.

RefundsRace registration is non-refundable, unless you've chosen to purchase a refund protection plan when registering. When you register, you may choose a refund protection plan for added confidence on race day, covering injury, illness, work conflict, mechanical issues, or severe weather. Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather. In situations such as tornado warnings, thunderstorms, heavy and persistent rain etc., we will need to cancel. Should we cancel you will be notified via social media, our website, and email. Should we cancel there will be no refunds as that money has already been put toward the race, unless you've purchased a refund protection plan.

TransfersMore than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value. All transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director.
