The Nieuwjaarsloop Zwartsluis is a New Year running event held in the small harbour town of Zwartsluis in the Dutch province of Overijssel, staged on Saturday 2 January 2027. Runners can choose between 5 and 10 kilometres on the main programme, while the youngest participants get their own short races over 1 km, 2.5 km and 5 km. Routes head out from the town and its waterways into the flat, open countryside that surrounds Zwartsluis, on paved paths and quiet roads typical of this low-lying part of the Netherlands. Entries are handled through the online registration form linked from the event page, and runners are advised to check with the organiser for the latest start times and race-day details.
