The Comité des Fêtes de L'Arbresle opens the new year with a morning of trail running from the Salle Claude Terrasse on Rue de Paris. Two marked trail distances are on offer, a 20 km setting off at 9am and an 11 km at 10am, with a short 1.75 km family loop running alongside them. Ground underfoot is natural trail rather than road, in the rolling countryside around the town. Bibs are collected on the morning from 8am, an FFA licence or a PPS health certificate is required for the trail courses, and a tartiflette or vegetarian meal is served from midday to round off the day.
