The Naoko Takahashi Cup Gifu Seiryu Half Marathon is one of Japan's largest half marathons, held in Gifu City on a Japan Association of Athletics Federations certified course that follows the Nagara River past some of the city's best known scenery. Runners start from the Marathon Gate at Gifu Memorial Center and finish inside Himalaya Stadium Gifu, also known as Nagara River Stadium, with the half marathon setting off in waves from 09:00 and a 3km race following at 09:25. Age-group and elite runners from Japan and overseas line up alongside a large general field, and race weekend also brings a marathon EXPO, food stalls and appearances by race director Naoko Takahashi, the Sydney Olympic marathon champion. This page is the U-25 entry form for runners who are 25 or younger on race day. Number collection takes place only on the Saturday before the race, and bibs can also be posted out in advance.

Entries for the 2027 race are accepted from 10:00 on 16 October 2026 until 23:59 on 30 October 2026. The organisers close entries early if the field fills, so it pays to enter soon after the window opens.
This entry form is for runners who are 25 years old or younger on race day. Runners aged 26 and over should use the general entry form instead.
No. Each runner may enter only one event at this race.
No. Athlete registration takes place only on Saturday 24 April 2027, from 10:00 to 20:00, at the Fureaui Dome at Gifu Memorial Center. Nothing is handed out on race morning, although you can choose to have your bib and race items posted to you in advance, in which case you do not need to attend registration at all.
No. The half marathon uses a wave start, so runners set off in groups rather than in one mass start.
