Nan Ultra 100 takes runners deep into the quiet landscapes of southern Nan in northern Thailand, over routes that link rolling roads, mountain country and rural communities. Every race starts and finishes at Sao Din Na Noi, the striking landmark that serves as the base for the whole weekend. The 44.2 km and 105 km races set off at 20:00 on Saturday and spend much of their time under the night sky, while the 68 km race begins at 04:00 on Sunday morning. Elevation gain climbs from 936 m to 2,188 m across the three courses, so the day rewards careful pacing and patient endurance rather than raw speed.

Entries are sold online through the event's registration page. Registration closes on 4 December, roughly six weeks before race weekend, so it is worth entering early because the races are limited in size.
A headlamp with fresh batteries and a spare set is essential, and most runners also take a hydration bladder or soft flasks, a light windproof layer, and enough food to cover the gaps between nutrition stations.
Na Noi sits in Nan province in northern Thailand. Most runners fly into Nan Nakhon Airport and continue by road to Na Noi district, or travel overland from Chiang Mai or Bangkok. Sao Din Na Noi is the central meeting point for the weekend.
The courses are mixed surface and the overall course profile is hilly. Routes combine rolling roads with mountain sections, rural tracks and long exposed stretches, including plenty of running in the dark.
