Entries open at 12:00 on Friday 12 June 2026 and close at 23:59 on Friday 16 October 2026. The marathon closes earlier, on Monday 31 August 2026, while the fun run entry period has been extended to 16 October.
No. There is no runner registration on race day. Registration takes place the day before, on Saturday 30 January 2027, between 9:00 and 20:00 at Isahaya City Central Gymnasium (Uchimura Memorial Arena), where you collect your athlete bib and timing chip.
Marathon entrants must have been born on or before 1 April 2008, excluding high school students, and must be able to finish within 6 hours 30 minutes. Fun run entrants must be high school students or older and able to finish within 50 minutes. Wheelchairs are not permitted in either race.
Every participant receives an original towel as a gift. A finisher medal is awarded to marathon finishers only. Results are issued as a web finisher certificate; no printed record book is produced.
To allow a smooth and safe start, waiting blocks are assigned according to the predicted finish time given on your entry, regardless of whether you are registered with the JAAF. Anyone who leaves the predicted finish time blank starts from the back, and false declarations lead to disqualification.
