Mudfest is a 4-hour timed challenge. Runners complete as many 4.38km loops as possible within 4 hours. You can stop after any number of laps and still be a finisher.
No, the event takes place in a working forest open to the public. Runners must be considerate to other users such as walkers, cyclists, and dog walkers.
Public toilets are available at the Visitor Center between the car park and base camp. There is also a cafe on site usually open until around 4pm.
