The SAKUYA entry is one of four races held alongside the main Mt.FUJI100 festival at Fuji Hokuroku Park, on the northern foot of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi. The open 8.6 km and the U20 5.7 km races start and finish at the Fuji Mountain GX Stadium inside the park, so the whole day revolves around one central venue. Runners complete the open course within a three-hour limit and must keep to the route without going astray. The race is run as part of an event that hosts elite trail runners from Japan and overseas, and the surrounding festival includes an expo and local hospitality booths.

You must be able to complete the course within the time limit without getting lost. No Performance Index points are needed for SAKUYA. The 8.6 km race is open to junior high school students and above, and the U20 5.7 km race is open to junior high school students up to age 19.
Entries open at 12:00 on 2 November 2026 and close at 23:59 on 28 February 2027. If the field fills before the period ends, entries close early.
Each person may enter only one race. Group entries and family entries made by a single person on behalf of others are not available. Every runner must hold a free RUNNET member account before entering.
Race-day registration takes place at Fuji Mountain GX Stadium in Fuji Hokuroku Park from 08:00 to 08:45. The opening ceremony is at 08:45.
The SAKUYA 8.6 km race starts at 09:00 and the SAKUYA U20 5.7 km race starts at 09:15. Both start and finish at Fuji Mountain GX Stadium in Fuji Hokuroku Park.
