Miles for Moffitt is a charity running event staged in downtown Tampa, Florida, with every entry supporting cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Participants choose from a 10K, a runners-only 5K, a 5K walk and stroller wave, a 1K fun run and walk, a kids dash for children eight and under, and flexible virtual entries for those taking part from anywhere. The morning unfolds in waves from the Channelside Drive area of downtown Tampa, with the longest races setting off first and the kids dash closing the programme. The day brings together patients, survivors, families, athletes and corporate teams, and since 2006 the event has raised more than $12 million for research, sparking over 70 projects and drawing participants from 44 states.

Yes. The event is open to patients, survivors, families, athletes and corporate teams, so groups, workplaces and friend circles are all welcome to register and fundraise together.
