[Middle School / Neighbouring Middle School Division] 70th Anniversary of the Chofu City Sports Association, 71st Chofu Citizens Ekiden Race

Only middle school students who live or attend school in Chofu City, or who live or attend school in Fuchu City or Mitaka City, may enter this division. Entries from anyone outside those groups cannot be accepted.

Entry runs from 00:00 on 5 October 2026 to 23:59 on 19 November 2026. Applications close earlier if the field reaches capacity, so it is worth entering well before the deadline.

The 15km five-leg race, which includes the boys' and girls' middle school and neighbouring middle school divisions, starts at 09:15. The longer 24km and 20km team races start at 10:45.

Check-in takes place at Amino Vital Field, 376-3 Nishimachi, Chofu City. Middle school, neighbouring middle school and mixed teams check in between 07:30 and 08:45, while general men's, masters and other teams check in between 07:30 and 10:15.

Yes. Every team must watch the recorded managers' meeting, which is streamed on YouTube from 09:00 on Monday 25 January 2027. The recording sets out the race notices and rules for the day.
