The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend spreads across the May Bank Holiday in three West Sussex towns, opening with a 10 mile race in East Grinstead on the Saturday, continuing with another 10 mile race in Haywards Heath on the Sunday, and closing with a 10K in Burgess Hill on the Monday. Runners can enter a single town race or take on all three days to cover the full 26.2 mile marathon distance. The courses are mixed terrain, threading through parks, woodland and open countryside, and the event is a regular sell-out. Shorter Mile and Fun Run races run alongside the main distances for younger and novice runners, and a virtual option is offered for those who cannot attend in person.
