The Mezza Maratona sul Brembo is a January road race in Dalmine, a town on the Lombardy plain just south of Bergamo, named after the river that runs alongside it. Runners can pick between the half marathon and the shorter Diecimila sul Brembo over 10 kilometres, and both follow tarmac through the town and the flat farmland around it. The race is held on 6 January, the Epiphany public holiday, so the morning has the feel of a winter festival with families out watching and a relaxed start to the new running year. Full route maps, start times and entry details are published by the organiser on the event website as race day approaches.

Other questions
The race is scheduled for Wednesday 6 January 2027 in Dalmine, in the Lombardia region of Italy, on the Epiphany public holiday.
The town sits on the Lombardy plain where January mornings are often cold, sometimes foggy and occasionally close to freezing. It is worth packing gloves, a hat and a light layer you can discard once you warm up.
Dalmine lies on the flat Po plain south of Bergamo, so the roads used for both races are generally level with only gentle undulations. That makes it a good place to chase a personal best at either distance.
Any change of distance, transfer of an entry or cancellation is handled by the organiser, not by this listing site. Contact them directly through their event page and they will explain what is possible and any fee involved.
Because both courses run through the town streets and the roads around Dalmine, supporters can usually find several spots along the route within a short walk of the centre. The organiser's website will show the course layout once it is published.
