Half relay teams have 2 to 10 members and quarter relay teams have 2 to 7 members. The team representative must be 18 or older, and team members must be elementary school pupils or older.
There are three categories: mixed, men's only and women's only. Mixed teams must include at least one male and one female member.
Entry runs from 0:00 on 3 November 2026 to 23:59 on 31 January 2027. Entries close early once the quota of 120 teams is reached.
The companion and family entry function cannot be used. The team representative must enter the name, kana, gender and date of birth of every team member when applying.
No. Team size cannot be changed after the application is submitted, so confirm that every member can take part before applying.
