The Meia Maratona de Faro is a road running event held in the Algarve city of Faro on Saturday 10 April 2027. Entries cover distances between 11 and 21 kilometres, so the programme offers a half marathon alongside shorter 11 kilometre races and an 11 kilometre walk for those who prefer to cover the ground at a gentler pace. The day is built around the streets of Faro itself, with the city centre, its waterside setting and the surrounding Algarve coast forming the backdrop. Start times, entry fees and course details for the 2027 edition are published by the organiser closer to race day.

Other questions
Yes. The Caminhada de Faro covers 11 kilometres and is aimed at walkers rather than runners, so it is a good option for anyone who wants to take part without racing.
Faro has its own international airport and a mainline railway station, both close to the city centre, and the city is connected to the rest of Portugal and Spain by road and rail. Once in the city, the start area is reached easily on foot or by local bus or taxi.
