Medal Mix Challenge Day 1 is a lap-based event on a 5.28k out-and-back stretch of an old disused railway line at Littleham, on the edge of Exmouth. The course is fully tarmacked and accurately measured, so it is classified as a road race, and it rolls gently through woodland with the occasional glimpse of the sea. Entrants collect their number at Race HQ and then have seven hours to complete as many laps as they choose, whether that is one or fourteen. A nut-free aid station and a baggage area sit at HQ and can be visited on every lap, and each finisher picks a bespoke medal from a selection.

Other questions
You can run or walk. Running Events Devon welcomes absolutely all abilities, and whether you plan to walk or run you are treated as a finisher and a winner.
There is no minimum. Each lap is 5.28k and you have seven hours to reach the finish of your final lap, so you can complete one lap or push on towards fourteen laps. You set your own challenge when you enter.
Your entry includes access to the Race HQ aid station with savoury and sweet snacks, squash, water and coke, use of the baggage area on every lap, and a choice of bespoke finisher medal.
Yes. There is a baggage access area at Race HQ right next to the aid station, and because the course is a lap you can get to your bag on every lap.
A large selection of savoury and sweet items, along with squash, water and coke, is available at the Race HQ aid station once the event has started. The aid station is nut free.
