Other questions
The championships are scheduled for Saturday 21 November 2026.
There are two championship races on the day. Men run seven miles and women run five miles.
These are Midland Counties championship races, so entry is normally through affiliated clubs and subject to the association's eligibility rules. Confirm the current requirements with your club or on the association website before entering.
The races are run over cross country ground in late November, so cross country spikes or studs are the usual choice and a spare pair of shoes for afterwards is wise. The organisers have not published a specific kit list.
Cross country championships are usually run over open ground that is easy to watch from, and spectators are generally welcome. Confirm any access or parking arrangements with the host club or the association nearer the date.
