Now in its fourth year, the Marbury Festive Fun Run sends runners and walkers around 3km of shared, accessible pathways in Marbury Country Park on a flat course that can be completed at any pace. Marshals dressed as Santa's Helpers line the route to keep everyone on the right path and in the festive spirit. Every entrant receives a Christmas themed medal plus an extra treat at the finish, and festive fancy dress is very much encouraged. The event is open to all ages and abilities, with pushchairs welcome and dogs not permitted. Children under eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while children aged eight and above may take part on their own as long as their responsible adult remains in the area at all times.
