Set against the Atlantic coast along the Guérande peninsula, the Marathon Côte d'Amour offers road races over 5 km, 10 km, half-marathon and marathon distances. The marathon follows a single 42.195 km loop that links La Baule, Le Pouliguen, the medieval citadel of Guérande and the wild coastline of Le Croisic and Batz-sur-Mer, with panoramic ocean views throughout. Including only 109 metres of elevation gain, the course is among the fastest marathon routes in France, while the accompanying shorter distances take in the same spectacular surroundings. Race weekend in early November brings runners together for a mix of performance and discovery.
